Danger in winter and on the pasture
The «Achtung Dachlawine» warning sign belongs under every roof edge with snow, «Achtung Glatteis! Rutschgefahr» at stairs and entrances. For pastures with suckler cows there is a warning sign in several languages, for sledging paths «Achtung Schlittelweg».
Power and operations
«Hochspannung» as a pictogram and «Warnung vor elektrischer Spannung» with text belong on switch cabinets and plant rooms, «Gefahr, Zutritt für Unbefugte verboten» on the door in front.
Children and dogs
«Achtung spielende Kinder» slows traffic at the drive into an estate, «Achtung vor dem Hund» warns at the garden gate. As a lawn stake, «Achtung Mähroboter» warns at the edge of the mowing area.
Material
The warning signs come from A7 to 495 × 700 mm, from CHF 21.10, made of Masterbond, a 3 mm aluminium composite panel with a UV laminate.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to warn of a roof avalanche?
As the owner you are liable for your building (owner's liability, Art. 58 of the Swiss Code of Obligations). A warning sign doesn't replace snow guards, but it shows that you pointed out the danger.
Why is the triangle yellow?
Yellow with a black border is the colour of warning signs under ISO 7010. For the sign to be valid the colours stay; you adapt the text and font.
