Before the gate opens
Anyone entering a property with a dog should know beforehand. It's consideration for visitors, tradespeople and the dog itself, who defends its territory. The sign says it where it counts: at the entrance.
Where it goes
- on the garden gate or yard entrance
- on a fence along a road or footpath
- at the back entrance used by deliveries
Good to know
A warning sign doesn't replace a secure fence or relieve you of supervising the dog. It does show that you warned visitors. Long fences need two or three signs; from two pieces there's a quantity discount.
