Good to know
For text plus both symbols we recommend at least 500 × 132 mm. If it's read from a moving car, rather 600 × 160 mm. Made for private ground: on public roads and on private areas open to public traffic, the authorities decide on the signs. It only becomes binding, with fines, through a court ban (Art. 258 Swiss Civil Procedure Code).
