Your driveway is no shortcut
Navigation systems know every road, including yours. At the start of the private access, the sign shows who should drive in and who had better turn back before having to turn in your yard.
What you adjust
- the title, such as "Privatstrasse" or "Privatgrund"
- who may drive in, such as "residents only"
- an addition such as "No turning space"
Good to know
The sign is meant for private ground and is a notice, not a traffic signal. On public roads and on private areas used by public traffic, the authorities order the signals. A ban only becomes binding with fines through a general court ban. For the yard, take the "Private property, no parking" sign. From three signs in the same material, the combination discount applies.
