Standard safety and road signs keep their standard colors so everyone understands them at once.

Your prohibition, clearly visible

Whoever has obtained a court prohibition for their property must display it there where it can be seen. What belongs on the sign is in your order: the court, the date and the number, the prohibition text and the penalty notice. You copy these into the editor word for word from the order, and we print exactly that, large and weatherproof on 3 mm aluminium composite.

The fields in the editor

  • Title, preset "Gerichtliches Verbot"
  • Court, date and number of the order
  • Prohibition text from the order, up to eight lines
  • Penalty notice from the order
  • Footer, for example the property owner, can be switched off

Under "Signal" you choose no parking, no vehicles or a sign without a signal, depending on what your order provides.

How to go about it

  1. Apply for the prohibition at the competent court and wait for the order.
  2. Copy the text of the order into the fields without shortening or rewording it.
  3. Order one sign per access road or entrance and put it up where people enter the property.

Good to know

We check for typos, not the content, and we don't give legal advice. Only your order counts. Where the sign shows a signal, some cantons require approval by the police or the municipality first; if in doubt, ask the court. Without an order such a text has no effect: then the no-parking sign "Privat" with your text fits. From three signs in the same material, the combination discount applies.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order the sign without an order?

You can, but without a court order the text has no effect and may mislead. For a notice on your property, take the no-parking sign "Privat" with your own text.

How many signs do I need?

That is often stated in the order or in the court's information sheet. Usually one sign at every access road and entrance, clearly visible to everyone entering the property.

Which size fits?

The text of an order is usually long. From 297 × 420 mm it stays readable; at access roads people pass by car, take 350 × 500 mm or larger. The preview warns you when a line gets too small.

Do you check whether my text is right?

We read for typos, but we neither check the order nor its content, and we don't give legal advice. Copy the text word for word from your order.
